This country is my home
from the glowing golden beaches
to the bubbling hot pools in Rotorua
from the vast ranges of snow-capped peaks
to the misty untouched valleys
cloaked in dense forests flourishing with life

This city is my home
from the small wooden fishing boats bobbing in the murky harbour waters
to the mighty albatross soaring through the sky
from the ferocious wind pounding against the rugged coastline
to the creative street art
hiding around corners in dark alleys

This house is my home
from the lush green garden
to the colourful pillows resting on the rocking chair
from the squawky chickens pecking at the ground
to my comfy inviting bed
where I like to lie and dream.
